The Respiratory Therapy Department is staffed with Registered and Certified Respiratory Therapists.

A wide range of Respiratory Therapy

procedures and diagnostics including but not limited to:

-   IPV (Intrapulmonary Percussive Ventilation)

-   Invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation

-   Routine nebulizer treatments & aerosol therapy

-   Chest physical therapy

-   Incentive Spirometry treatments

-   Inhaler instruction

-   Smoking Cessation Intervention

-   Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

Pulmonary diagnostic procedures include:

-   PFT (Pulmonary Function Tests)

-   Pulse Oximetry
-   Bedside Spirometry

-   End Tidal CO2 Monitoring

-   EKG 

-   Pulmonary Stress Testing

-   Methacholine Challenge Tests

-   Occupational Lung Disease Disability Testing

    *  Black Lung Testing
    *  Asbestosis Testing

    *  Silicosis Testing

    *  Other Work Related Lung Disorders

All tests require a physician's order and must be scheduled.

Services are offered and performed by Registered Respiratory Therapists also credentialed as Registered or Certified Pulmonary Function Technologists.

The Department operates under the Medical Directorship of Dr. Christopher Begley M.D., FCCP.
